Canterbury City Women’s Team
Our women’s team welcomes players of all abilities – from seasoned players to complete beginners. We are an inclusive, supportive and friendly team, and we are actively seeking new players. Generally the team is made up of a mix of experienced and beginner club players, core players and alumni, university players (from Kent University and Christ Church University) and King’s School Canterbury players.
If you are new to lacrosse then you are very welcome to come and try a few sessions before you commit. We understand that trying something new can be a challenge, but we have experienced coaches who focus on lacrosse fundamentals to help you learn and improve your skills. We’ll get you playing lacrosse in no time at all!
In 2025/26 we have again entered a women’s team into the SEWLA league and we will also arrange ad-hoc games with local teams, as well as playing in some of the many social tournaments across the year.

Women’s Lacrosse
Canterbury City Men’s Team
The men’s team is looking to welcome players of all abilities to join and make up a new team to compete in the SEMLA league. In 2024 we started seeing more and more men join the general club training sessions and now have a solid core of players who want to compete in the main lacrosse league. The team will also arrange ad-hoc games against local sides, as well as playing in various tournaments across the year (particularly the more social ones of course!).
We are actively looking for additional players to join, and are happy to see complete beginners looking to pick up the game, as well as experienced players who would find it convenient to train in Canterbury.
