Canterbury City Women’s Team vs Clapham Women’s 2

Absolutely fantastic game between Canterbury and Clapham! Both teams played some beautiful lacrosse and the fast transitions had players and umpires testing their fitness to the max on what is a very long pitch! The game was pretty even for the first three quarters, but Canterbury managed a burst of energy in the final quarter with 5 goals to Clapham’s 1, ending with a 10-8 win to Canterbury, and their first win in the 2nd division.

Great result from a team still coming together, and with a few new faces on the pitch this week as well.

vs

Spencer Women’s 2 vs Canterbury City Women’s Team

A really hard-fought first game against Spencer 2’s and an amazing 29 goals scored in total! An action-packed game that was so close, and the Canterbury team fighting to the end. For the team’s first game in Division 2 this is a result we can be proud of!

vs

CCLC Men vs Buckhurst Hill

A great first game against a friendly BuckHurst side. They dominated the first quarter while a new Canterbury men’s team found their feet, and then were denied for the remainder of the game. 3 goals from Canterbury in the 2nd half of the game tied the score, but nobody else was able to pull the win out of the hat in the end, and so a respectable tie between the two teams.
